ECO Close Encounters Ensemble: ‘Intimate Voices’ at St Edmund’s School, Canterbury

The ECO’s outreach project Close Encounters explores the story of the string quartet in a performance of music spanning four centuries at St Edmund’s School, Canterbury. For ticket holders there will also be a lecture recital at 14:30 examining Haydn’s humour, followed by a masterclass session in which the ECO coach the St Edmund’s Quartet in playing the music of Shostakovich.
