We join the Waynflete Singers for a double billing of St Nicholas. In timely fashion we shall perform Haydn’s St Nicholas Mass, a work of infectious joy and good cheer. This will be followed by Benjamin Britten’s St Nicholas Cantata , a narration of the life of St Nicholas, bishop of Myrna, and his good works - a lively story complete with sea voyage, storm, saving the daughters of a poor man from a life of prostitution, and the resurrection of three pickled boys!
