Announcement on His Majesty King Charles III Patronage of the English Chamber Orchestra

We are delighted to announce that we have received confirmation from Buckingham Palace that His Majesty King Charles III has retained his Patronage of the English Chamber Orchestra following the recent review of Royal Patronages. An announcement that marks the first anniversary of Their Majesties’ Coronation. Members of the English Chamber Orchestra were proud to have performed as part of the Coronation Orchestra at the ceremony last year.

His Majesty has long been a life-long supporter of cultural life in the UK and having been our Patron for nearly 50 years, we are honoured and grateful for the continued support.

We are passionate about sharing our love of music with a wider audience and to continue to contribute to the thriving orchestral sector in the UK. The joy and comfort that live music can bring is irreplaceable and we look forward to an exciting future of music-making both on the concert platform and in our community.
